A 7 night 4 star package works out at about £114 per night, and a 12 night 5 star package at £90 per night, with flights included in both.
You may notice that 10 and 12 night packages cost almost the same. This is because flights are the biggest part of the price, and the flight costs the same whether you stay one week or two. If you can take a few extra days off work, a longer stay gives you better value.
3 star, 4 star and 5 star Umrah packages
3 star Umrah packages are ideal if you want a clean, comfortable room and plan to spend most of your time at the Haram. These hotels are usually a 10 to 15 minute walk from Masjid al-Haram. Where the walk is longer, a free shuttle bus is provided.
4 star Umrah packages are our most popular choice for families. Hotels sit within a few minutes' walk of the Haram in Makkah and close to the Prophet's Mosque in Madinah. Breakfast is included on most 4 star packages.
5 star Umrah packages put you in hotels right next to the Haram, often in the Clock Tower or Jabal Omar area. These are the best choice for elderly pilgrims, anyone who finds walking difficult, and families with young children who need to go back to the room between prayers.
Flights from London for Umrah
We book flights from Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted and Luton depending on the dates and your budget. Direct flights from Heathrow to Jeddah take around six and a half hours. Connecting flights via Istanbul, Doha, Dubai or Cairo take longer, but they are often £100 to £200 cheaper per person. For a family of four, that is a big saving.
If you would rather land in Madinah first and finish your trip in Makkah, tell us when you ask for a quote. Many pilgrims prefer this, because it means your trip ends with Umrah in Makkah and you fly home straight after.
If you live in the North of England, flying from London may not be the easiest option. Take a look at our Umrah packages from Manchester instead, with the same hotels and the same level of service.
When is the best time to go for Umrah from London
The cheapest months are usually January, February, late April and May, outside the UK school holidays and after the Ramadan rush. Ramadan is the most expensive and the busiest time, with hotel prices in Makkah roughly double the rest of the year. Ramadan 2027 is expected to begin around 8 February and end around 9 March, so the cheap January period will be short. If you want to travel in Ramadan 2027, book before the end of November 2026 to secure a hotel near the Haram.
The December school holidays and the February 2027 half term, which falls in Ramadan, are popular with families, so prices rise and availability tightens. For the best choice of hotels and flights, we recommend booking eight to twelve weeks before you travel.
Umrah visa for UK citizens
British passport holders can obtain an Umrah visa through the Nusuk platform, and we complete the application as part of your package. You will need a passport with at least six months' validity from your return date, a passport-style photo, and proof of your booking. The visa is normally issued within two to five working days. If you hold a non-British passport, let us know when you enquire so we can check the requirements for your nationality.
Why book your Umrah with Al Noor Travel
We are a small team, and we like it that way. When you call, you speak to someone who knows your booking and has stayed in the hotels we offer. There is no call centre. If your flight is delayed or there is a problem with your hotel, you call us directly and we sort it out.
All our packages include the items listed above with no hidden extras. The price we quote is the price you pay. The only extras are the optional items you choose to add yourself. This honest pricing is one of the reasons our customers call us the best travel agency in the UK for Umrah and Hajj.
